Perched between cliff and Pacific Ocean, this existing coastal residence lightly engages its site, framing expansive ocean views through a restrained architectural lens. Originally built in 1972 as a duplex, the remodel brings an authentic material palette of warm wood, stone, and muted textiles establishes a tactile calm, allowing light and horizon to define the interiors. Custom millwork, built-in seating, and carefully proportioned openings create spaces that feel both intimate and expansive—shaped by rhythm, craft, and the daily rituals of coastal living.
